Sacagawea Position A & B

4 posts in this topic

The difference between A or B is how the coin was lettered on the edge!!

The only people that care about are PCGS since NGC doesn't even put it on the slab.

POSITION A - Edge lettering reads upside-down when the portrait of Sacagawea faces up.

POSITION B - Edge lettering reads normally when the portrait of Sacagawea faces up.

Off topic question about Sacs. I have a Goodacre Presentation Finish PCGS MS67 and they value it like your everyday run of the mill Sac. Any thoughts?

-Edit-

NGC List this coin for $18.75, PCGS lists this coin for $700.

Numismedia often only doesn't usually do prices on variety coins. The price should be listed in red with ** to say that "Price shown is for the coin's parent. NumisMedia does not list a price for this specific coin. Price displayed is for a generic example of this coin, which might not be the same variety or strike character. This value is for the closest matching coin in the NumisMedia price guide. Actual value of the coin may be substantially different."
