1894 o half eagle

Despite a low mintage, the survival rate was fairly high in circulated grades. I'd guess you'd have to be well into better MS grades for it to be "rare". It does command some premium over bullion issues, even in lower grades, however.

New Orleans only minted the $5 Liberty Head Half Eagles in 1892, 1893 and 1894. The 1892-O had 10,000 minted, 1893-O had 110,000 minted and of course 16,600 for 1894-O. There are 275 NGC graded 1894-O with highest graded at MS-63 and there are only 2.
