Bought a Box of pennies, found this.

I was going through my box of pennies from the bank and found this coin. I was wondering if it was an error from the mint and if it might be worth anything. I am new to all this so if it isn't anything special please don't hesitate to tell me I am a insufficiently_thoughtful_person. The penny seems to have been pressed too hard. Lincoln is visible yet flat. My father suggested someone may have put it in the press but the Lincoln side isn't pushed out, just distorted and the shield side has very little flattening which suggests it was in a flat press from a machine shop. I hope there is help that can be found here for me. I took as many pictures as I could, if a specific angel or view will help better please let me know. Thank you

Is this a double die error on the date and mint mark?

I tried getting a clear photo for about a half hour and this is the best that I ended up with. Sorry! I'm not really looking to make money off of this coin. For a 1990 it's in pretty bad shape. And even if it is a double die, it's extremely light and hard to see. I'm just trying to get a third opinion because my husband said that while the mint mark has it, he couldn't really see anything on the date. If you look very closely, you can see the faint outlines of a second date struck to the right and slightly down of the first date (the swirls of the faded 9's curl inside of the other 9's). It's aligned perfectly with the second D mint mark.

For those who are more familiar with grading and value, I'm asking for learned, experienced opinions. No snide remarks, please. Would it be beneficial to grade these pennies before offering them for sale? Also, anyone have an idea about the closed D and ghost of a P in the 83 Washington? Also, wasn't that a key date for low mintage and quality?

First off, I am SO SORRY for the photo quality. I'm new to coin collecting and don't really have the best tools for taking close-ups. If you have pointers/equipment suggestions for taking coin photos, I'm all ears! Like the title says, I'm trying to figure out if this 1993D quarter was broadstruck or just damaged. The only reason why I think it's the former is because I don't see a single remnant of reeds. There are a couple of dents and scratches on the edge, sure, but none of them are straight lines that look even remotely like reeds (one of the photos has a regular 1993 coin edge on top of this one for reference). It also weighs about .4 grams less than my other '93 coin, and looks slightly thinner. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!

Which appears to have doubling in “Liberty”, “IGWT” heavy on the ‘G’, as well as on date. On reverse it looks like an entire word underneath “America”. All opinions are valued. So to start off this nickel currently weighs in at 4.7 grams. That being said, then considering the composition of 40-50% silver (I believe) of the single known small S 1942 Nickel. It’s not unlikely this coin could’ve seen unusually heavy wear. Also the “S” I’m seeing looks slightly rotated clockwise To the right of Monticello. Is clear enough to see with naked eye or loop. But is near impossible to sight close up. Making me think I’m SEEING PATTERNS*** . Thank you

1988d nickel it looks to me to be slight doubling on obverse in liberty and star the 88 in the date.....it looks to me like a has a rpm that i cant find anything on it but the mint mark kind looks a little d displaced like a close rpm just looks different.. might rven be slightly doublef on reverse in the un united e pluribus..any info helps

I found this 1966 penny looks like it may have been struck in San Francisco mint I really can't tell where that was a mint mark that was struck there then removed or wether it is Pmd or really what's going on with it.. .weighs 3.31 grams could that possibly be wrong alloy

HELP NEEDED - Identifying a 1996 United Kingdom one pound coin upsidedown error

Hi everybody, hope you are well. I am not exactly a newbie, but I'm not exactly a professional. I have a moderate knowledge of coins but I need some help with this one. I just joined this website today for the advice of a coin dealer. I have in my possession a commemorative 1996 British Pound I believe from Northern Ireland. As I was doing a little bit of research about the coin just for kicks, I noticed as I read online that there is an error coin where the words on the side of the coin are struck upside down. I believe I have one of these coins actually. However I need some verification from more tenured eyes and help from the community. I have not found a lot of information about this coin on the internet so any help that I could get from here would be wonderful. I will submit some pictures so everybody can have a look.

I cracked it out to out It under a microscope and verify it was a happy eagle variety which it is for sure. When researching i also have found there were a very small % struck on proof planchet. What do I look for besides the fields?

Does anyone know what's going on with this coin? It looks like there's an eagle in on his head as well as multiple letters and other random marks. At first I thought it was the eagle from the back of the coin but I don't think that's the case. Please share your thoughts! Chad D.
