I don't like communists, and I don't like it when someone takes advantage, BUT, you did give him the chance to name his price, AND it is a very beautiful coin. I think this worked out perfectly. Congrats, We all wish we could do this for a living. ;-)

So, is that a real Peace Dollar that has been counter stamped with a 2021 and the roman numerals? Or is it considered a "fantasy piece"?

Did you know that you said you were going to "display it along with the plague"? I assume you meant plaque, but I found it funny. Congrats on your very prestigious award.

Mine might be currently ranked as #2, but it is the most complete with all NGC coins at 58% so far. :-) Little things matter.

I've always had a hard time understanding why buyers get upset at the prices owners and dealers are asking for their items. If the prices asked are too high, don't buy from them and look elsewhere. It really is that simple. Just like if the price is too low, you should snap it up quick. If, on the other hand, a seller is asking the fair market price for an item, it is up to you to decide how much you are willing to pay, and try negotiating. I, as a seller, am completely within my rights to ask a million dollars for my $10 item, just as you, the buyer, are completely within your rights to offer 10c for my $10 item. The sale is made when the seller AND the buyer come to an agreement on the price.

Child proof your home...…...at least until he's old enough to appreciate and care for your things. It's tough being a dad.

It's fake...……..and it says 50c on the reverse. ;-)

I call those "road pennies". I once tried to use the analogy that "even a road penny has some value to someone", to try uplifting someone who has been through too much and considered themselves damaged goods...…..one man's trash is another man's treasure. Your little one has been through too much, but is a treasure. Good luck, and God bless.

I respect a man who can admit when he's wrong. I respect myself...……...ALOT! :-)

Very well thought out, and your argument makes complete sense to me. But youre going to bruise your brain if you keep beating it against the wall. :-)

Lincoln Shield cents seem to almost always be mounted reverse side up. I understand the excitement of a new design on the first year of issue, but it's been going on ever since. I hate it. I want mine slabbed obverse (date) showing, and I can flip it over to see the reverse.
When will I be priced out of collector coins

It is the "value" of our dollar dropping, due to the trillions being printed. You will need many more worthless dollars to buy something that has real value.
