  1. I agree, but as Roger pointed out, only struck once. Pretty good detail for one strike though.
  2. Man, the cointalk thread had 105 responses. Mostly the same as here. This thread has beaten his old record of arguing about a non-existent special finish by over 30 responses and still going!
  3. This dremel has nothing to do with your POS coin. It was posted for someone else that was unsure what dremeling was. Hopefully your TROLL thread and you will be removed today!!
  4. As I see you are pretty new here, I can see why you have no idea who Mark Feld is. This is a man that you would rather have on your numismatic side, than to ridicule him.
  5. Ok, I'll give in. Looks like a Matte Dime to me. I would send it in to have it graded!! Your persistence has convinced me that you are far more knowledgeable than anyone else here.
  6. Yea, I'd rather wait til the coin is in hand to take a guess. Photos like this don't usually end well for the buyer. I may be looking to hard but looks like the possibility of some hairlines just peeking thru under "United". Hopefully I'm wrong.
  7. I'm not sure why you came here to ask about a coin that you seem to already know what it is. You've tossed out the opinions of some pretty darn knowledgeable members here and are dead set on your opinion. Send it in to be graded and then you can do what you want with the TPG's opinion.
  8. Out of what was offered, I had to vote for the Liberty Walking Half Dollar all three times. None of the others really impressed me.
  9. Did they stop making these for a while? I got mine back in January for the same ridiculous price.
  10. I don't do much error looking. As a matter of fact, I have to have a magnifying glass just to see the date anymore. Lol I think the 58D is a pretty cool find. It may be minor but cool!
  11. Really hard to grade by the pics. Those are also not jewelry rings. I think the ring had something to do with the dies. There are others that can explain it better than I can. Here is my MS62 and you can see the ring around it.
  12. Well I have noticed it more in the last 2 months of stay at home living. I really didn't see a lot of the threads that got shut down were really offensive to anyone. Some of the threads were just basic topics of what has been going on in life and in our nation. It looked more like casual conversation to me and most threads were poofed in no time. Most people had nothing better to do than ask what everyone else were doing. Seemed pretty innocent to me but I guess ats is only concerned about their end of the hobby.
  13. Most slabbed coins like this were bulk orders. They were slabbed noting that they are uncirculated but with no grade. I think, I may be wrong, but slabbing bulk with this designation was cheaper than having each individual coin graded. The picture is a little poor but still looks no higher than an MS62. JMO
  14. Not sure how many here venture ATS, but lately, I have never seen a public forum in all my hobbies that gets soo censored. I understand it is their forum, but the last couple months it seems their censorship and bannings have just gone over the edge. EVERY forum I am a member of , not just coins, have an open topic category for those that just like to post things about life. ATS doesn't allow anything that isn't coin related or mentions any negativity towards PCGS. At least NGC has let conversations go pretty far, even at the expense of someone possibly not happy with NGC service or one of their coins. There is zero tolerance ATS. It's a shame because some of the off topics do have some good questions and/or info. Oh well, I guess you just have to learn to kiss butt and tread lightly over there to survive!
  15. Well I would but most stuff I have is common and not worth the grading fees. Lol
  16. When you get an email with a discount code to get a membership for $12.50. I never submit but I figured, ya just never know. Lol Thanks NGC!
  17. I have no idea. I only know I wouldn't pay $500 for a BU coin with a first release label.
