  1. The coin you are showing sold is also an MS66 which yours is far from. There is a slight premium on these but condition is the biggest factor for how much. I'm on the fence with yours. I did notice that the slant is not a marker for the mm. 2 examples on pcgs shows one slightly slanted and one straight. Your top pic still makes me believe it is but I am definitely not an expert at this stuff. Wish I could give you a more definitive answer. Sorry
  2. Ya, so I thought your top pic was a closeup of your mm. By looking closer, I presume it's not? If not, then your pic doesn't seem to matchup with it.
  3. Found another on pcgs a little worn like yours. Could be an inverted mm from what I can see.
  4. This is the best shot I can find of the inverted mm for the 1941s. Yours seems to be a little higher up, so not sure if the mm placement is the same on all. Your pic is a little blurry when zooming in.
  5. You asked for opinions. You're getting them. All we can go by are the pictures you provided. It may look very different inhand. We don't know that. If a dealer has already told you different, then submit it and see what NGC says it is.
  6. I'm pretty sure if you just have them reholder due to a mechanical error, as long as you can provide documentation of why it was reholdered and the serial number, they will resticker. I think! Sweet coin! Can you post the reverse also?
  7. Looks like environmental damage/toning to me. If I had it, it would be taking an acetone bath to be sure.
  8. Yep, a crude counterfeit. You'll be wasting your money if you send this to any grading company!!
  9. Could be, but posting different coins. Lol
  10. By the looks of it, you were getting good responses from what you were posting. It seems you don't care to take the info and use it to your advantage. If you think you will be treated any differently on the pcgs forum, you have another awakening coming.
  11. I guess all those grandfather's only lived to be 20yrs old.
  12. Ya, I got lost opening this thread! Lol
  13. Someone ATS had posted that they found out that Oldhoopster had passed away last month from cancer. I know he posted here and was letting those that knew him know. I myself only knew him thru the forums and he always had informative posts. RIP my friend!
  14. I've had this for a few years just sittin in 2x2 box. I was going thru some these the other day. Found this columbian comm and noticed quite a bit of MD. Thought I'd share for those wanting some good views of it.
  15. This is where I see the B took a hit and shifted the metal over.
  16. I'm not seeing where the liberty on your coin looks anything like the op's liberty.
  17. It does look like it took a hit and moved the metal over. Easy to do with soft copper coins.
  18. Ya these are some very small coins. I have no idea where I got mine. Only one I have and not in very good shape. I have 1851 written on the 2x2 but not really sure of the date.
  19. Before I got my microscope, I use to make sure my camera was set on the highest pixels it was able to. Then when cropping, the subject area would still look good. Sometimes. Lol
  20. I still have my DAT tape from 91' when my band recorded a 45rpm back in the day. Lol
