  1. Cool coin. Personally, I don't like collecting error cents anymore of any type because if the plating is compromised at all even the tiniest amount it's a place where corrosion can set in and can destroy the coin. The zinc subsurface is highly corrosive. Pre 1982 is fine, however. Other coins are fine. Strike through errors also show similar die progression irregularities.
  2. Perhaps, to indicate there is no mint mark?
  3. Found another 2007P 8 Rays Jefferson Dollar making it my second one now.
  4. Another one came in today. Less then grading fees.
  5. But what does it cost to certify 2 rolls of quarters? 😆
  6. Picked this up for 20 bucks. Good deal or bad deal?
  7. I'm thinking Die Gouge not a Die Crack. What say you?
  8. But I attained the unattainable the imperfect perfect coin.
  9. Thanks I soldiered on and now I have found a 2007 P "8 Rays" Jefferson dollar. This makes two mints Philadelphia and Denver with the same error/variety die clash on it for the 2007 P and D Jefferson dollars. Pictures below.
  10. our coinage is often funny, imaginary and can be collectable.
