  1. I held off grading them for numerous reasons but I was sending a submission in and thought why not just get them conserved and graded - both came back MS63. Wasn’t expecting any ridiculous high grades, so ended up with 2 honest coins which is fine for me
  2. The 1928 is now an MS63 and the 1908 liberty is MS64 - I thought they both had a chance at 64 but I can’t complain as they are issue free
  3. Couple of coins picked up at auction and off to be graded very soon - I’m awful at guessing grades so I won’t speculate but you are welcome too but auction house consider them Choice Uncirculated
  4. Some stupidly cheap buys and soon off for authentication and grading - 1853 half penny and 1806 farthing
  5. Bought a couple of unc Morgans from a CNG auction, be interested what people think they may grade, will confirm the actual grades once they are graded: 1888 with Double Ear and 1883cc
  6. After my recent purchase of my first 2 Morgans, I decided to add these two to take my count to four. Was not planning on collecting Morgans but they are mini-masterpieces. Anyway both seem very clean coins and not sure why the MS63 is a 63 because it looks perfect to my untrained eyes
  7. Recently purchased these at auction - always wanted a couple of Morgans and we don’t see many CAC stickers in the UK or I certainly have not. Thanks Steve
  8. Finally graded and came back an MS62 - happy the coin is issue free but obviously little disappointed as my expectation never reflects reality but to be honest it’s a very nice coin and got no real argument why it’s not an MS62. So no complaints here and my first graded US coin as gone well!
  9. I’ll post new pictures when I have this coin in hand - the coin itself is described as uncirculated and lustrous. Its from a reputable auction house and from a well known numismatic collection. Obviously that’s no guarantee but I expect it’s safer buying from these and paying the premium than other purchasing routes
  10. Normally buy ancient or British coins but my first gold US coin. I’ll submit it for grading and see how it does but this one just called out to me and I bought it Thanks Steve
