  1. Hi, When I got this NGC encapsulated coin two years ago, I noticed a small white residual stuck on coin rim. I thought it’s some inert material from the slab. But when I check the coin recently, I noticed green rust-like things appear around the white residual. Is this PVC damage? And can NGC restore the coin without further damage? I do like this coin… Attached photos are comparison of what happened
  2. Hi, I think I ordered photo vision service when submit #2867821-001 . The status of my submission has turned to “shipped”, but I still haven’t received any image yet. Have I mishandled something or the image is still being processing?
  3. I noticed that most people are talking about the risk of changing non-ngc holder to ngc holder. What about reslabing ngc's own holders? Do they guarantee no damage for that?
  4. Ok. It's a stupid newbie question. Does reholder service have the probability to damage the coin.. I watched several videos on YouTube and found it's quite hard to crack a ngc holder open. I also found on the reholder paper work that submitter should consent reslabing may damage the coin if they use non-ngc holder. I'm very curious about how ngc and pcgs open their sealed slabs.
  5. So do you think the white debris is removable if I send the coin for reholder? I'm not sure if it will gradually undermine the coin's surface. And I don't know if a coin conservation is needed as i don't really want to clean the coin but the very annoying white thingy.
  6. I recently bought a coin in ngc holder. When i received it I noticed there's a white debris on the coin inside the slab which looks like the white insert material. Also the insert seems not in suitable size with the coin. There are some black marks left on the white insert, which appears to be the patina of the coin. It seems someone tried very hard to thrust the coin into the slab... So.. is it a normal case for ngc's slab?.. should I change the slab..?
