  1. I am familiar with the three main characteristics that you look at to determine whether or not it’s a lg or small date and the “2” is usually pretty easy to tell. However, in this case, the 2 does look like a lg date but then the rest appears to be more like a small date. The 9 is lower and is comparable to the small date, and all the letters are similar to a small date as they are more defined.
  2. The coin has some damage I'm thinking it might be a small date as the “2” has a more “crooked “ shape instead of the more “straight” 2.
  3. Im just looking for your opinions and let me know what you think about this
  4. I could only upload 3 images but this is a 2019 D cent. On the obverse there “GOD” was the most obvious. E Pluribus Unum was most prominent on the reverse. Any input would be great
  5. This is why coin forums frustrate me. It’s amazing how quickly some assume they are more of an expert than the person asking a question. MD huh?
  6. I’m not sure about the correct answer to this but is doubling required on all or most of the obverse/reverse to be what one call a true doubled die? Can a coin still be a DD even if only one word is doubled. Obviously value play s role then

  8. I’m just going to go ahead and assume. I see doubling.
  9. Sorry all, last coin question. I’m trying to make myself believe that I’m seeing machine doubling, but I just can’t convince myself yet, the eyes, ear, bow tie, appear doubled, and I see the “notch” on both obverse and reverse. I know if both sides are affected, it’s more likely machine. Let me know what you think. Thanks
  10. I’m not sure what I’m looking at but ONE CENT caught my attention!!
  11. I’m not sure if this is an error or not. Any input would be greatly appreciated.
  12. I found this coin in a roll i bought from an antique shop and this is the best image I’ve got as its pretty worn. It’s definitely copper. Anyone have any thoughts?
