  1. A local dealer told me the exact same thing today. Just a newbie learning.
  2. I have an 1897 P Morgan that looks very clean. There is a toning on it that I can't tell if it's due to cleaning. I'm curious if this is a forgery or maybe even a Proof. Thanks
  3. Sorry to bother you. I have one other coin I was going to submit, an 1897 P Morgan. Do you think this is a Proof? Thanks
  4. Thanks. Then I won't have the expense of having it graded. I know it's a 79 reverse, but it's not worth the risk of a low grade. It even shows some signs of wear in the hair, so it looks a bit circulated.
  5. I'm sending this 1878 Morgan in for grading. Do you think this is a proof? Thanks in advance.
  6. What are the criteria for approving a PCGS coin in the NGC registry? I have a dilemma. I want to buy a PCGS coin, but I am not buying it until it is accepted into my collection. If it is not accepted, then I'm not going to spend the money. I could either lose that money or have to go through a refund process.
  7. Hi I have an 1888 P Morgan graded by NGC in MS 65 with the VAMS designation of VAM-16 DDR Wreath. The coin is in my registry, 3542882-011. It seems that this VAMS designation was changed in 2016. vamsworld does not give any information on whether this is still a VAMS coin. Can you tell me what might be the registry score for this coin? There is none listed as of now. Thanks, Sal
