  1. Hello Ali. There is another peso coin missing from Mexico set Cap & Rays Peso, 1918-1945, Circulation Issue, Including Varieties. Sorry that I failed to mention this one in my earlier request to add varieties to this set. Coin slot 1932/2M MEXICO OPEN 9 PESO is included in Mexico set Silver Peso, 1920-1945, Circulation Issue, Including Varieties, but missing from the other Mexico Peso set, Cap & Rays Peso, 1918-1945, Circulation Issue, Including Varieties. Here is a coin example for your review: NGC Cert # 2838348-002 NGC Description 1932/2M MEXICO OPEN 9 PESO NGC Grade MS 64 Since both sets include all varieties and should be in sync with one another for the various varieties, I would appreciate it if you could add this one to the aforementioned set. Recall, both sets are basically the same except one set includes 2 years (1918 and 1919), while the other one doesn't. Thanks for your time and consideration. Scott
  2. Hello Ali. I agree with Ferngar's request to add the 3 additional slots into the Silver 1 Onza, 1949-1980, Mint State, Including Varieties set as noted in my earlier request. (1) NGC Slab example #2838353-006 (MS 66+) for 1979MoSilver Pan Points to "U" With Dot Before Year (Census of 6). (2) NGC Slab example #2838353-007 (MS 64) for 1979MoSilver Pan between "U" & "N" With Dot Before Year (Census of 3). (3) NGC Slab example #2828047-007 (MS 65) for 1980Mo Silver "0" Slanted Left (Census of 1, however 3 additional coins are currently in shipment to NGC for attribution). You have many other coins slots within the Mexico series where only a handful of coins are noted within the Census, but they have slots within the Registry. I can certainly provide those examples if you wish, just let me know. This series and associated varieties was updated in late 2018 when your Lead World Grader, Dave Camire added most of the varieties which are listed in the set today. The three additional coins being requested now, 1980 date slanted left was added to your Variety Plus list in 2019 and the two 1979 "dot" varieties were added earlier this year. As you can see within the Census, each of these coins have been growing in number. Due to all of this, I would like to strongly recommend that each one be added since many of Registry participants within this set are already slabbing or have plans to submit raw coins to be slabbed with these varieties. Thanks for your consideration with Ferngar and my request. Regards, Scott
  3. Hello Ali. Within the country of Mexico, Set name Silver 100 Pesos, 1977-1992, Mint State, Including Varieties, I would like to request the addition of a variety which is missing from the list since this fits the focus of the set to include the varieties. The slot is as follows: 1977Mo MEXICO LEVEL DATE DOUBLED DIE REVERSE S100P (Census currently lists 10 coins). NGC example #2838349-005 (MS 66). Since the 1978 DDR variety which has a Census of 47 coins is already included in this set, it only seems reasonable to include the 1977 DDR as well. Thanks for your time and consideration with my request. Scott
  4. Within the country of Mexico, Set name Cap & Rays Peso, 1918-1945, Circulation Issue, Including Varieties, I would like to request the addition of several varieties missing from the list since this fits the focus of the set to include the varieties. The slots are as follows: (1) 1932/2M OPEN 9 (Census currently lists 4 coins). NGC example #2838348-002 (MS 64). (2) 1933M LOW 3 (Census currently lists 2 coins). NGC example #2828045-013 (MS 65+). Thanks for your time and consideration with my request. Scott
  5. A new group was recently added to the country of Mexico, set name Silver 5 Pesos, 1998-Date, Proof. Within this set, there are several slots which are invalid for the set category description. First, there is an entry within the group which is mis-labeled with the incorrect date. That entry is currently listed as 1988Mo JARABE TAPATIO when it should be titled as 1998Mo JARABE TAPATIO since the date is "1998", not "1988". Here is a 1997 example for your review: NGC #2739410-003 (PF 67 Ultra Cameo). Regarding this same coin type as my previous comment, there is a Mexico Silver 5 Pesos with a date of "1997" which is missing from the list. That is the sister coin issued before the aforementioned 1998 entry. That coin is listed in the Census as 1997Mo JARABE TAPATIO and has a current total of 39 graded coins. Since this a proof coin and matches the 1998 coin type entry, but issued one year earlier, I would like to see it added to the list. This will also change the title of this Set since it should now say Silver 5 Pesos, 1997-Date, Proof to denote the start date as 1997. Here is a 1997 example for your review: NGC #2739410-002 (PF 68 Ultra Cameo). Within this set, there are 10 coins which are listed, but should not be included as they are all MS or business strikes. These 10 coins were issued by Mexico in 2000 and 2001 as part of a special Endangered Animal series and none of the coins within this group were struck in Proof, therefore they should be removed from the list unless you change the overall set focus to include Proof and MS struck coins. I would suggest a new set get created for these MS coins so this set can remain with a Proof coin focus. The slot names in question are as follows: (1) 2000Mo CROCODILE (2) 2000Mo NUTRIA (3) 2000Mo PENINSULA ANTELOP (4) 2000Mo ROYAL EAGLE (5) 2001Mo BLACK BEAR (6) 2001Mo BLACK-TAILED PRAIRIE DOG (7) 2001Mo HARPIE EAGLE (8) 2001Mo JAGUAR (9) 2001Mo VOLCANO RABBIT (10) 2001Mo WEST INDIAN MANATI Lastly, there are two entries within this group that are unknown to me from within the Mexico series of $5 Pesos coins. I'm not sure where you picked up these coins since they also do not show in the Census for Mexico. I have a suspicion these coins were issued from another Central or South American country as many countries issued coins from within the Ibero-American Series over the years. With that said, I would like to recommend that they be removed from the set. The slot names in question are as follows: (1) 2011 IBERO-AMERICAN SERIES - HORSE PESO (2) 2012 IBERO-AMERICAN SERIES - MAPS OF AMERICAN & EUROPE - COLUMBUS' SHIPS Thanks for your time and consideration with my request. Scott
  6. Within the country of Mexico, set Silver 1 Onza, 1949-1980, Mint State, Including Varieties I would like to add three NEW varieties which have been attributed within the NGC Census, as well as added to the Variety Plus list. The coins are as follows: (1) 1979MoSilver Pan Points to "U" With Dot Before Year, (2) 1979MoSilver Pan between "U" & "N" With Dot Before Year and (3) 1980Mo Silver "0" Slanted Left. Thanks for your consideration regarding this request.

Really interesting, but hopefully exciting times ahead with all Registries. May just be another step in the maturation of the hobby.
