Not that bad. Almost looks as though something was spilled on it and pat dried and the residue has turned the copper.

I know you guys love toned coins and I can appreciate your likes, but I think that , that 1909 is on the brink of being terminal

There is a lesson to be learned from this coin. I am a true copper lover and don't mind spending for a few red cents, but this coin vividly shows just how little a coin needs to turn to no longer be red, and a red and brown specimen
can look just as nice for a h e l l of a lot less money.

I know what condors are but have never thought about why the were necessary. For U.S. hard times tokens were brought about because of the recession of the 1830's - 1840's. Was it the same for the condors of more so for advertising and steering of business towards certain vendors?
