  3. Sadly, just regular US cents. I would ask if there was anything else you wanted to know about them, but then I would be a copycat......
  4. The charges will be separate. They may have decided to do nothing on the conservation, and then you might still have a handling fee. They're very meticulous, so be patient. They'll generate whatever paperwork they need to get your order done. With my submittal, the paperwork came back, and they had penned a strikethrough on what was wrong with my submittal, and they then straighten everything out — writing on the original submittal by them — so there was no doubt on how how they were going to proceed with things, and not mix things up.
  5. Ooohhh, fun. All mine are worn out. My best is AU 50.
  6. Oof. That's a rough coin. As the others have told you it's a dryer coin. No numismatic value, millions were made, and this one got unlucky.
  7. Oh, so that's why they looked so funny. Thought they were replicas. LOL
  8. Hello, @Steve Passmore. Please follow the directions if you need a score correction. The Coin Explorer website does not necessarily display the latest values. Please go to the specific NGC Registry set in question if you wish to view the points a coin receives in a certain set. Also, please note, a NGC Registry coin score is never guaranteed. Points may and often do fluctuate over time. A change may be an increase or a decrease. Thank you.
  9. Hello, @Roshto49. Thank you for your interest. To be added to our new set request queue, please post here: Need a new NGC Registry set? **Please remember to include your NGC certification numbers in your request! ** - NGC Registry - NGC Coin Collectors Chat Boards
  10. The coin was already slabbed by ngc, I was charged for grading already but no ncs charge, , I just read that if it's already slabbed and ncs declines then it won't be regraded, unless written regrade regardless of ncs decision, I wish I would of known this, I would of written it on the form
  11. Hello @David Otto, I am happy to help! The NCS fee is charged separately then the grading fee. It is usually charged after the services are complete. If the coin is already graded or you request NCS for an ungraded coin, then it will go to NCS first and once completed there it will go to the graders. If you do not select NCS then it will go to the graders and if they find a coin(s) on your submission that they feel would benefit from going through NCS then the team will reach out to directly to see if you would like it to go through NCS. If you choose for it to then it will go to NCS and then back to the graders for review. I hope that help! Please let us know if you have any questions!
  12. Keep them if you like but as Mike stated, they are not real coins and have no Numismatic value.
  13. You could be using a browser, such as Google Chrome, that doesn't work well with the NGC website. If you're using Chrome, try using Microsoft Edge. I've never been able to figure out why Chrome doesn't support many features on the NGC website, including certificate verification and the price guide, but it just doesn't, no matter what "cookie" or other settings I use.
  14. Hello @Weidel Legacy Collection! Thank you for reaching out. I'm sorry to hear about the issue you are experiencing with logging in. You may have already tried this, but have you attempted to reset your password? There are no issues that I can see but I want to make sure we get this sorted out for you. Please let us know if the issue persists!
  15. So, is it God or the Devil in the details?...Maybe just dimensions. Measure twice, cut once.
  16. Welcome to the NGC chat board. These are just common date U.S. one cent coins that currently circulate. Each one has a mintage in the billions, and they only have collector value in nearly perfect, uncirculated grades, which these aren't. Was there anything else you wanted to know about them?
  17. NO They are just little play money tokens.
  18. I got this two coins as a gift but I don’t know anything about them. Does anyone know any details about them? They are tiny. Is it worth keeping in my collection?
  19. Dodecahedrons are 3-dimensional solids with 12 faces. You mean dodecagon - a polygon with 12 sides.
  20. I don't see articles in the papers of the day talking about the citizens of the UK, Switzerland, Germany, etc.....engaging in the hoarding of gold and gold coins to the extent that the French did. Clearly, a cultural thing. Europe overall much more into gold coins than here in the States. French farmers, middle class, and professional class (doctors, lawyers, small businessmen) leading the charge. Not sure why...could go back to Napoleon. No history of devestating wars that I am aware of or hyperinflations in the 1800's. WWI did have an impact on the accumulation tendencies of the 1920's and 1930's but not sure about the herd instinct before then.
  21. People....I clarified above. The French Central Bank also had big increases in reserves but eventually they stopped releasing gold as they realized it wasn't being used, just hoarded.
