On a more positive note than what I've been reading here all day...
My mother's co-worker (who originates from Bulgaria) just left for here trip home this weekend. She had to delay her trip several weeks because these lawyers she'd paid a mountain of money to help her obtain permanent residency status still hadn't gotten their acts together.
She's going to try to bring me back lots of new and old shiney Bulgarian coins for my collection of foreign coins (I think I have coins from about 17 different countries). I hope to be able to image and share pictures of what she brings back with the rest of you here. I think most of us are Americans and I don't know how many of us get to see Bulgarian money.
Also the subject of grammar and spelling came up earlier. As someone who is dyslexic and dysgraphic, I tend to err on the side of tolerance and not comment when others make mistakes in their writing in recognition of the fact that I am FAR from perfect in this area. Let the one who has never made a mistake make the first correction? Something to consider I think.
