They almost have it right.
I noticed today that Ellen & Edith Wilson have their own slots now. But they are now backwards "". Ellen needs to be before Edith. Oops, that's OK we're all human. ""

Did anyone noticed the registry mistake?
When I was adding my Helen Taft proof coin to my registry, I notice that the last two coins for this year(Ellen Wilson and Edith Wilson) has been combined into one coin slot. So I checked all the other sets, I found out that all the gold sets have the mistake, the medal set is correct.
I sent a support request to them, hope they fix it soon.

Wow, I like the retro holders!
Today, I received a retro holder Silver Eagle. You have to see these in hand. The black core makes the coin and label sick out!
Too bad NGC didn't stick with the black core from the beginning.
How popular it's becoming, let's hope NGC might make this a option in the future. I would love to have some of my coins re-slabbed in these holders but, NGC doesn't offer it at this time.
Outstanding NGC!!!

All I can say is, GET IT TODAY! Thanks NGC, Very cool app!!!

Anyone who is in the 10th Anniversary Registry (CHECK YOUR SET ASAP) Rev proof is missing from set!
Today I notice I wasn't first ranked in 10th anniversary platinum set. So looked in to it and I noticed that the Rev proof was missing.
Don't worry everyone, all you have to do is click on "EDIT SET" then on the right hand side of the Rev proof slot you will see a blue box saying "1 avail.coin" click on it then click on "cert#" you will see the coin added to slot, then click on "save" at the
I hope this helps
Hi lanebrad! Trust your first thoughts, I would pass on this one. I'm not an expert but I think PCGS is the only trusted grading co. to grade WTC coins. Also if you come across a PCGS WTC, Make sure it has a numbered grade (NO BU) because I noticed that PCGS BU graded coins has no serial numbers on it and it also has " Collectors Universe" on back.
I took a real quick picture of my with my phone to give you an idea to go from " sorry for the blurs "LOL"

Please forgive me for my post yesterday
Hi everyone, I just want to say sorry for my post yesterday. I work graveyard and yesterday was the first night of the week, I was tired and grumpy. I should of went right to bed yesterday and played around with the site today "LOL".
Well, I got my rest and in a better mood today. I've been messing around with it this morning and I really like it! The one feature I really like is being able to add coins that don't belong to any registry. It also se
Why fix something that wasn't broken?
This new update isn't what I expected. The pages are very plain looking and not that easy to use ( too much junk you don't need) and it hangs up ( all I see everytime I click on something is "WORKING" then hangs up)
Please bring it back to the way it was ( it was fun to use then not anymore)
Does anybody out there feel the same?
Happy collecting, Jimmie

I can be very sure that HSN is Pre selling 2010 ASE's!!
I think everyone is going to get a big kick out of this one, The next time all of you watch HSN selling and showing graded coins that no one has at that time, look close at the ANACS slab and the coin in the slab!
Several weeks ago when the 2009 proof buffalo was released,HSN about a week later was selling and showing a ANACS graded PF70 before anyone else had there hands on it. I said to myself "this can't be true" Then I got a clo
1oz Buffalo,Platinum and Fractional Gold Eagles will be released!
The United States Mint announced today that it will offer for sale 2009 one-once American Proof Buffalo Gold Coins and one-once American Eagle Platinum Proof Coins. The release dates for these products are tentatively Oct.29 and Dec.3,2009, respectively. In addition, the agency will release the one-ounce 2009 American Buffalo Gold Bullion Coin on Oct.15 and the fractional 2009 American Eagle Gold Bullion Coin-in one-half ounce,o
Yes, I believe it's USPS not NGC as the guilty party
Just a few minutes ago I wrote down the cert. number of that out of place label and I checked it out on the NGC verication page. The picture of the coin slab was perfect nothing out of place. So it had to happen during transit. Check it out for yourself.
happy collecting! Jimmie
They're not in the American Gold Eagle catagory
What I noticed today is that NGC changed the .9999 Gold Buffalo catagory to .9999 Fine Gold Bullion coin. You will find the UHR's in there (both Regular and Early Releases census reports)
Happy collecting! Jimmie
What a bummer!
It seems like that the US mint jumped the gun on putting UHR's on sale before they had the goods (that kind of sounds like our US Gov. )
It's a shame that all of us who ordered within minutes after they went on sale, aren't going to get them sometime in April.
I hope NGC is aware of this because, Early Releases cut off date (Mon. 3/9/2009)is approaching soon!
"NGC please put the Early Releases cut off date back to TBD status until the US mint figures out what they ar
My status is "in stock and reserved"
I was just checking my status from the mint and it stated that the coin and the book is in stock and reserved, So I went and checked my credit card online and it showed that the US Mint has charged my account today for the amount of $1193.95.
So everyone who ordered this, check your status and your credit card , You might be getting a long awaited surpise in the mail this week!
Happy Collecting! Jimmie
Check your orders, might be getting it sooner than we think!
I was just checking my order status, I noticed that the UHR was no longer in backorder status. It is now ( in stock and reserved)not showing any expect. ship date. Let's all hope for the best, 70's all the way!
Happy collecting! Jimmie
US Mint needs a good arm twisting and lower their coin prices!
I've been checking the silver, gold & platinum prices, they are dropping down! down! down! Today silver is at $12.85, gold at $785.50 and platinum is at $1384.00.
I hope the US Mint is aware of this because at this time their coin prices are way over the melt price.
Lets all hope that the Us Mint will adjust these prices soon.
Happy Collecting! Jimmie
Have you looked close at the new 2008W PF Buffalos?
I just received my new 2008W $50 Buffalo NGC PF70 and I noticed something funny about it today. I was comparing it to the 2006 & 2007, what I found was 2008 had less detail on the Indian head , it looks like the relief of the coin is much lower and showing a more frosty like appearance. I think the US Mint changed the hub a little bit to match the fractionals because maybe the fractionals had problems with a higher relief and detail (th
Don't listen to Paul Kiraly. He missed the point about what coin collecting is all about.
It's sad that there are people out there putting down other collectors. Coin collecting is suppose to be fun.
I personally love reading about other collectors additions to their own collections. I don't care if they cost one dollar to a million dollars each. It is not about making money, it is about collecting money. It is the excitement of the find and completing the set. Also, being a man is n
US Mint announced today, 2008 Proof & Uncirculated 24k Gold Buffalos go on sale July 22 at 12:00 noon!
Us Mint announced today that they will be selling 2008 PF & UNC. 24k Gold Buffalos on July 22. They also announced that there will be fractionals ( $5 $10 $25 ) in both PF & UNC. Also after reading the press release, it looks like all the proofs and uncirculated coins are going to have the West Point mint mark!!!
US Mint also listed the prices for each coin . But, I think price
I agree with you 100% about looking down on modern coins
I hope everyone realized that for example, back in 1878, the newly released Morgan silver dollar was a modern issued coin at that time. So my point is, the modern coins that we collect today could be tomorrows classics.
Just think, way into the future about year 2200, there will be high nosed collectors putting down 2200 modern coins and praising their classic 200 years old 2000 coins.
That's just my thought.
Happy Classic &
An insult email from a Collectors Society member
Hi everyone, Well you all know that last week I was the first one to post a journal a bout Adams on Ebay and a week later, I get my first insulting email from a collector society member. I was wondering why he sent it a week later, until I read it and I know why, I think it took him a whole week to write it. First of all, I was only making a statement.
Here is the email he wrote word for word,
"Why are you talk bad about this lister??? Are
