Friends,

 As of first ---- 15 years ago or so we had a FRIENDS list available on our member home page.  A few years ago the FRIENDS were changed to FOLLOWERS by the NGC group. 

 Now there is not even a followers list on our home page.  Is this Followers list coming back?? Seems the club is moving more and more towards unsocial practices.

Use to be a member could post their journal from their private member page. Now they have to go to Chat Boards to do so. I don't mind it but I know that many members do not use the chat boards. Will there be a link later to post journals from the member page?

Time to "change" up a bit

"More Change" is the answer!!! Friends, I have been working on a few deals to acquire top grade dimes, nickles, and pennies. I got with a few dealers and found one for Lincoln cents but got the strangest e-mail today from him. He was offering me German Notgeld Notes (paper emergency money - 1920s). Sacs and President Dollars

A SILVER DIME ADITION

A Beautiful starter set of dimes Friends, My earlier post boasted of some dimes sent to me before purchase. Variety Dime Hunting

Always on the look out!! Friends, I am starting to obtain a fairly large amount of the Roosevelt dimes. In my pursuits I check the pics of the dimes looking for doubling in hopes that I will find another variety to add trying to make up a 10 coin submission for NGC to grade. The Roosevelt dimes seem to be full of varieties that are not listed on the slabs and obtaining a handful is easy once you load large close ups in your set and check them. Where is the speared Bison???

A busy Saturday ahead. Friends, I ran across a mint bag of $50 Bisons. It will be a long easy search this weekend to find a spear. At $10 extra for the bag it seemed to be a deal and will fill a hole in my Top 100 if I do find one. Chances are around 1 in 5,000,000, right?? Ah what the heck---worth a look for sure. January Submission Accepted

State Quarters MS uncirculated stage 2 of 3 Friends, I finally made enough extra cash to send in the second stage of my state quarters. This submission will cover mainly 2005 to 2008 with a few earlier pieces. The first submission (stage 1) covered 1999 to 2004 with 67 coins that filled 29 holes. LOW BUDGET COINS

There is always a way to add a few. Friends, I have wanted a flying eagle cent since I saw one. Lately there are not very many people purchasing coins for sale. 1949 Mint Set

NGC blew me out of the water on 1 coin Friends, The grades were just as I thought on most. The 5c got a nice grade of MS66 The no mint mark 10c got a grade of MS66 The S mint mint mark 10c got a grade of MS67 The 1949-D dime that I thought would be a keeper was the only bad choice as it came back MS64??? I must have really missed something. Over-All not a bad investment on grading and I sure hope the Roosevelt submission does a little better. I leave you with a pic of the dime tha

MORE COINS---MORE COINS---MORE COINS---MORE COINS

Time to fill another collection box. Friends, I have a couple sets 100% and a bunch of sets 1% to 10%. Each set has it's own holding box after it reaches 5 coins or more. I have gone out on a limb and grabbed a nest full of Silver Eagle Proofs. All are 69s and 1 70 yep EARLY RELEASE = the special egg. It will be refreshing to add a new box to my stash. Currently own 2 Silver Eagle proofs but will add 16 or more by the end of the month and get these turkeys looking ready for flight. HAPPY

My Heritage Winnings showed up today

SOCIETY CHANGES

Modern Coins and spots

Silver Eagles with milk spots "Quick Fix" Friends, We have heard quite a few complaints on coins purchased beautiful but spotted after placed in their safe a few years. A SHORT VACATION

MY PR69 DCAM Sacajawia Dollars are completely up to date

PAID FOR 3 BUT RECEIVED 5 Friends, I recently asked a friend in the society if he had any PR69 DCAM Sacajawea Dollars extra for sale, I needed 5. I got a return e-mail offering me 3 coins at a fair price, so I sent the check.   I had honestly forgotten the purchase with all the other things going on right now. I went up to my office and opened the box and COOL he finished my set for me. This is the first set I have ever had listed at 100%%%%%%. THANKS-NAMVETTE68 for the extra coins.
