I've been an addict for over 40 years
we need to start an NA...numismatists annonymous...just think of all those lost souls like us out there with no support group or apparatus to help them thru those many momments of weakness. Just think of all the coins that will be bought in momments of need or desire, and then the hours of joyous high as they gaze upon the lovelyness of that aquisition. help !!!!!
reason they were pulled
noticed last week or so that the canadian cent sets had been added...even pulled the ranking list...now I can't find them...major problem huh?
I have met Jim Taylor...impressed me
Met Mr. Taylor at the Boston show a year or so ago....must say I was impressed with his bearing and knowledge....have you seen the pictures of the new ANACS slabs? pure sex huh? The idea of a registry that accepts graded problem coins (in other words--ALL coins) is so appealing to me that I am sitting on the edge of my chair waiting the word. thanks for the heads up Mr. Mike Cooper
check out the serial numbers
does anyone else see the obvious differences in age of the grading of these two coins...the one on the left was an old slab me thinks
so ok, they're only peoples
to all of our fellow collectors...a merry christmas, a happy chanukah, and a happy hang over....NEW YEAR..(I never can get that right)...may you all find that number one coin that you want the most

NGC TO GRADE AS SMS FOR THE FROSTED? MINT SETS
SO now that the decision has been made to give the mint sets the SMS designation...are we gonna see a new slot for them in the registry sets?
Now I'm really wondering...a whole new catagory or a new set?
The mint has announced that starting this year all the mint sets will have a new finish for the contents....and going forward also. So will this mean we will have two catagorys of UNC Sac's etc. A MS-67 in normal Uncirculated, and a MS-6? in Sateen finish? Oh boy
