Though the Schultz Collection is still a work in progress, I am very pleased to have just had the opportunity to work with NGC on the presentation of the set. Many thanks to Mark and Scott in particular - you are VERY good at what you do, and a pleasure to work with.
In fact it's interesting how small a world it is. When I started up collecting again about 10 years ago, Scott was the first person I bought a commem from (outside the local dealer here). Things got kicked into a higher gear when I met Larry and started to focus on the really toned stuff, and there are some amazing people I've been lucky to meet and befriend. Larry, your stories are the best but you're way too busy nowadays. #54, you are #1 and I hope a republican gets elected so I can stop getting those emails! JVD is my daily entertainment and really does have all the data. Dave, you are the master and it's awesome to behold. Rod, you are the consummate gentleman, and Mark, you are clearly a wildman though I haven't really seen that side of you yet. Paul is doing the unthinkable TWICE - just amazing, amazing coins, and Eddie, I do hope we can meet in person someday. Of course Bonnie, you're awesome, and I appreciate Evan's eye as well. I appreciate all the help you all have been in my efforts so far, but mostly I look forward to more fun times in the future.
Also it's worth mentioning that the new NGC website capabilities are very useful, and also looking through the registry again it's really deep. People have fantastic collections and there are great coins from the top set to the bottom set. The NGC registry is a great place for coins in any holder, but it's interesting to see how many of the nicest coins are only in this registry.
