This is a much larger quantity than the 1993 yet most numismatists consider it the rarer of the two and it usually sells for a higher price. In fact this date has a reputation as the key to the series. Some examples exhibit brilliant heavy frosting that contrasts nicely against the reflective fields. It was minted in Shanghai.
