NCS Implements New Fee Structure
Posted on 2/28/2008
Effective March 1, 2008, NCS will implement a new fee structure. The fee schedule for NCS certification has been simplified by broadening value ranges and providing a single fee level for both details graded and genuine-only service options. For your convenience, coins of differing value levels may be submitted on a single invoice. NCS authentication and encapsulation services are for coins with detrimental surface conditions. Problem-free coins submitted to NCS are transferred to NGC and graded at applicable NGC tier rates.
NCS Authentication/Details Grading and Encapsulation Fees Effective March 1, 2008
Declared Value | Fee per Coin | |
Up to $300 | $12 | |

$3,001 - $10,000 | $40 | |
$10,001-$100,000 | $80 | |

Conservation fees will also be modified effective March 1, 2008. Conservation fees are assessed as a percentage of the owner’s declared value per the below schedule.
