Ballet is a beautiful dance full of grace and beauty. This Russian silver 3 Rouble coin honoring that dance had become, through years of improper storage in sub-par holders, something much less than a thing of grace and beauty.
Fortunately the NCS conservators were able to remedy the ugly situation that was occurring with this modern commemorative. Following the successful conservation efforts this coin was able to grade free of residues very well with NGC. For $22.50 this coin was able to be both graded and conserved as would any modern coin 1970 to date. A bargain compared to a ticket to an authentic Russian ballet.
