Posted on 6/8/2026
English gold and silver rarities spanning several centuries and certified by NGC® are being offered in an upcoming auction. Bidding is already underway for St. James's Auctions' Auction 123: The Richard Prince Collection, which concludes on June 10, 2026.
The top lot in the auction is a Great Britain 1816 Shilling - Gold Off-metal Strike graded NGC MS 63 and pedigreed to Montagu and Farouk (lot 74), with an estimate of £90,000 to £100,000 (about $120,000 to $133,000).
