Antium Aurum Offers Superb Selection of NGC-certified European Coins

A group of more than 300 coins certified by Numismatic Guaranty Company® (NGC®) that is focused on rarities from Central and Eastern Europe is being offered in an upcoming auction. Online bidding is already underway for Antium Aurum's Floor Auction XXII, which will be held on February 7, 2025.
The top lot in the sale is a Czechoslovakia 1935 10 Ducats graded NGC MS 67 and pedigreed to the Salton Collection (lot 480), with a starting price of €30,000 (about $31,000). This Eastern European gold rarity was issued during the First Czechoslovak Republic, which lasted from 1918 to 1938. The obverse features the patron saint of the Czech state, St. Wenceslaus, on a horse holding a sword. The reverse features a Czech lion, with a Slovak shield at its chest and a Linden sprig to its right side. Only 34 examples of this coin are listed in the NGC Census, and this coin is tied with two others for the highest graded.
