Monetarium Offers Hundreds of Rarities Certified by PMG and NGC

Hundreds of banknotes certified by Paper Money Guaranty® (PMG®) and coins certified by Numismatic Guaranty Company™ (NGC®) are being offered in a series of auction sessions through Monetarium, a trusted auction house in Singapore. Online bidding has already begun for Monetarium Auction 32, with the sessions being held December 2 to 11, 2022.

One of the top PMG-certified notes in the sale is a Malaya & British Borneo 1953 10,000 Dollars Specimen graded PMG 64 Choice Uncirculated (Day 3, lot 3428). This is the highest denomination in the 1953 Elizabeth II series, and the rarest of the notes. The PMG Population Report lists only 13 examples of this Specimen, with none of them finer graded than this. It has an estimate of SGD100,000 to SGD120,000 (about $73,000 to $87,000).
