Perhaps the all-brilliant proofs coined since 1902 were disappointing to collectors, as annual sales began falling after that time and continued to dwindle right through the end of the Barber series.
1904 proof dimes are fairly scarce, especially in the higher grades. Cameo pieces have been certified, but these typically show less frosting than Cameo proofs of the 1896-1901 period.
