Description & Analysis

The 1918/7-S Standing Liberty quarter is one of the most popular over-dates of any U.S. coin due to how obvious the over-date is. The coins were all struck from a single obverse die, and are seldom seen with strong strikes. In fact, NGC has not graded any gem 1918/7-S quarters with a full head.
