Description & Analysis

With a mintage of 263,000 coins, one might not expect the 1914-S $5 Indian to be among the rarest Indian half eagles in gem. However, it seems most of this issue went directly into circulation. In fact, NGC has only graded a total of 7 coins at MS64 or above! (8/2016)
