The 1913-S $5 gold piece is a conditional rarity in the series. It is available in all grades up to and through the AU range. However, it becomes increasingly rare as the grade increases. While NGC has graded over 100 MS62 pieces, only 3 coins have been graded by NGC at or above MS65. (8/2016)
