Description & Analysis

This is an extremely common issue across all grades through MS 66, though it is seldom fully struck at the centers. On the plus side, luster for 1935 nickels is almost uniformly excellent.

This date is known with a quite minor doubled-die obverse variety and several for the reverse, as well. Of these, NGC will attribute the most desirable ones under its VarietyPlus Service.
