Description & Analysis

1915 Philadelphia Mint quarter dollars are common across all grades through MS 65. Striking weakness in the eagle's left claw and adjacent arrow feathers is not unusual, and collectors should attempt to located a coin more fully struck.

The repunched date and doubled-die reverse varieties illustrated in the Lawrence book are simply strike doubling, and there are no true varieties for this issue.
