Description & Analysis

The 1902 New Orleans Barber quarter had a relatively high mintage of over 4.7 million coins. However, as was the case with smaller New Orleans denominations at this time, most went into circulation. Therefore, while circulated examples are common, uncirculated examples are difficult to locate, especially in gem.
