1884 CC Dollar Is this coin a Vam or not?

I have a 1884CC Dollar facing the reverse the C on the left is complete closed it looks like O.Is this a Vam coin?Thanks,Snake

It sounds as though you have a VAM-5. Both C's are double-punched, the left one offset enough that it has the effect of closing the C. This is not a TOP-100 or HOT-50 variety, so NGC will not certify it as VAM-5. There may be some premium attached to it, but not much.
