difference between PR and PF?

NGC doesn't. NGC and PCGS do it differently. PR anf PF are both abbreviations for PROOF. No difference, the two services just decided to do it a little differently than one another.

PR is technically the abbreviation for the grade of Poor and is incorrectly used by PCGS for Proof. This was acknowledged by them, but since it was used for so long there is no way for them to correct their mistake.

 

PF is the proper abbreviation for Proof.

I thought PO was the abbreviation for Poor? confused-smiley-013.gif
