Counting machine mark

2 posts in this topic

I know this questions depends on the severity and maybe the area. My question is- would a barely noticeable flat spot on the reverse of a washington quarter caused possibly by a counting machine render this coin ungradable? A tiny (shiny) flat area is barely noticable under a wing tip. Coin is a 1934 Washington quarter. Thanks for your exrertise.

Of course a question like this is difficult to answer because it does depend on the severity. However, based on your description, it doesn't sound severe enough to preclude grading.
