Clean Out the Old, Useless Sets

3 posts in this topic

If a set has been registered and shows less than 20% (or, you pick the percentage) completion, and also shows a lack of activity for a period of say, one year, then NGC should email the owner of the set asking what their intent is.

If none is forthcoming then NGC should kill off that set.

There are too many "dead sets" within the Registry that need to be deleted.

It will then make the competing sets easier to locate and will add a seriousness to the Registry.

Who knows? Maybe NGC already has a plan like this in play and I'm just missing it?

I think that this is a decent idea and think that NGC should solicit opinions on the matter, however, I think NGC should do what they think is best in the end and not bow to what might represent the majority opinion of a minority of collectors.
