Do you think that NGC/CS will adjust the signature sight so that we could put some headings between coins in the sets? The reason I ask is that my favorite signature set is a thematic/topical set and I would like to bunch/list the coins in groups according to their geographic area. I have thought about this and cannot figure a nice way to present the set otherwise...it is mixed with coins from Africa and US commems and modern issues with coins from the 17-1800's...anyhow, just a thought

I tried to add a NGC- ,69-d jefferson to my tradeable/sellable "graveyard" set and a note in red said " you may only add coins you own" ,when in fact, I actually do own this coin---funny thing tho, it would not allow me to save whole set with this coin in it, not coin was saved till I removed that coin. Couldn;'t they just log it and send a confirmation email or something? At least inform us that no part of set will save until those coins are removed AND please tell us how to get coins we really DO OWN to be listed when you have it under someone else?

what happened to signature sets on 10/4?..they all say updated..I looked at the gallery on 1 of my sets and about 10 coins have "no image available" although the listing shows that they have images...guess I'll have to re-photo these coins and add them again...sigh...this is not the first time {or second} that some of my images just disappeared followed by the little square saying no image available...

Well I hope I did it right... but decided to try to set up a Registry Set for one of the things I collect. Several of the coins say "pending" so I guess that means someone needs to verify the numbers or something. Some of the pics I used are before I submitted the coins and really aren't that good of picture. I'll try to update with better pictures later.

If this works, here is the link to my set... Comments welcomed.

Hi! Dena, is there any way we can move set positions around? I wouldlike to keep all my Wash's, Adam"s,Jeff's in order if I can.

I keep adding to my set when I get new coins.

Also a great idea for these sets. Thanks, Charlie

Are there any plans to add any other grading services to the signature sets? If ANACS and ICG were also allowed it would be perfect cool.gif

Hey buddy, that's my line.At least for ANACS... devil.gif

ANACS and ICG are as a rule Coins that are over graded.

Adding a Signature Set is still the most laborious, tedious, incomplete, miserable piece of software that I have ever had the misfortune to have experience with. It will don't order the coins properly as I have entered them. It insists on entering it's own order and will not reorder when I ask it to. It also decides how many multiples of each coin it is going to enter. Sometimes as many as three multiples. None with the stupid pictures that are in the registry of course! The software will not pick up my photographs and transfer them from the registry. I will be fried in Hades before I will go through the tedious process of transferring all my photos to "Photobucket" and then into this tediously designed software abortion just for others to look at. I am being at the mercy of some software designer's nightmare! I am through with it! Please either fix this software abortion or dump it!

It would have been a nice feature to be able to add the coins from my signature set into the new registry set that is replacing them, rather than having to individually add the numbers, comments, and pics again.

hello ? and yes, I also agree with you ! I honesty think, if NGC were to allow

Anacs and Icg to there website, it would expand , it's Collector's , an possibly' be

# 1 and move ahead of Pcgs, as far as Size and Verified' Collectors in the Top-

4 Grading Services... if NGC were to do that,,,,OH MY ! Can you imagine, how

large this would be?

take my message, and pass it around, maybe NGC, might think about this .

Best Regards, Jim/jb4gpo

This is brilliant! Thank you!!!

I personally am OK with being limited to NGC and PCGS, as I'm pretty much limiting my long-term collecting to the top tier companies. I'll still buy an ANACS or ICG graded coin if it's what I'm seeking, but I'll crossover-grade it. So far, it hasn't come up, though, as there's still plenty of gaps in my collection that are freely fillable with the top guys.

PCGS has allowed showcases, but they are limited only to PCGS coins. My collection may lean heavily towards them, but some of my best coins are NGC-graded, and I don't see a need to cross them over, since NGC's reputation is just as solid.

This also lets me custom-tailor my collecting goals, since I tend to focus less on competing with other sets and more on simply finishing the set.
