What is the max file size for registry pics?

Hi Chris,

 

100 K is the max file size, for the pics in my sets I save the files to 550 pixels square and set the quality as high as possible to get the file size just under the 100 K limit.

 

If you are using Photoshop or Photoshop Elements, there is a good tool in the file pull down menu called “save for web”, using this option make it real easy to size your pics and set the quality, plus lets you preview the new file. It also limits file size by saving only the image, not any of the other data that is usually in image files.

Thanks TDN and rexcat; I do use that option on PS elements and I appreciate the tip on the pixel size.
