Is this Dime double struck / triple struck and it also looks like it was struck upside down as well? Any help would be appreciated

Yep.  What you have is a dryer coin.  This is a coin that gets stuck in a clothes dryer and gets worn down by the action of the dryer, which is what has happened to your coin.  It's worth face value.

Hi Mohawk thank you for your help.Last night I was looking at the rim The shape and it almost looks all copper is it from the heat of the dryer

The damage is from abrasion.  Maybe its a dryer coin or maybe it's something else, but regardless its not an error.  The heat from a dryer has no effect on a coin, the damage comes from tumbling and abrasion between the rotating drum and outer shell

Everyone above is without a doubt correct.  Not an error coin.  I think the last pic in the opening of your post has deceived you.  It is upside down..... :bigsmile:
