2016 P light on the bottom edge 0

Hello Collectors,

Newby Raegan with another dime.  It is extremely light on the date 2016 and the P and "in God we trust" .  Any value on this one?

Hi again Raegan!

This second dime looks like you have a coin struck from a grease filled die, which is where grease accumulates in the recessed area of a coinage die, leading to the loss of design elements.  As far as a value, I'm not sure.....I'll let someone who is more versed on the pricing of U.S. coinage errors chime in on that part of it.

There’s not much of a premium for minor Grease Filled Dies, they are just too common, although some one who collects this sort of thing might give you a dollar or so. Generally it has to be at least 75% filled to have any substantial value.
