I cannot figure out if this is a normal coin or not. Can't match it up to anything. I thought maybe someone could help me out. Especially interested in what seems to be an F above the fact. Thank you all.

Just normal circulation wear.

It is impossible to have an extra  letter or number appear  on a coin (Except for a dropped letter) during the minting process. If it was an "F", it would be on all the coins  that die produced which could be up to a million.
