If you are referring to the date, that is Machine Doubling

The close-up picture is showing strike doubling, also known as machine or mechanical doubling. It is not a doubled die.

Actually, I did screen way more than 99 more of them and this was the only one with any hint of doubling.......eyes hurt!

One more question, it is the large date, correct?

2.) Small Date (Liberty w/a weak strike)

I believe the DDO is a proof only issue, and the small date comes as both proofs or business strikes

Yep the 72-S is just common worthless strike doubling.
