It means that you submitted a coin or medal that falls outside of what NGC will certify, usually because it's a commercial or non-official issue. That does not imply that it's fake.

Thanks for your reply.If additional information is sent from a catalog, will they reconsider a coin that is ineligible type for ngc?

I just had a coin from Great Britain 1791 that came back Ineligible. Are there other reputable companies that will certify it at least as genuine?

Post a clear photo of both sides on the "Newbie" forum and some member  here should be able to tell if it is genuine or not.
