Could be the pictures but it doesn't look right to me, in any case I don't think any TPG will touch this coin. Best case it will be returned to you as a "No Decision". There are top notch experts here that will chime in. Hope I'm wrong, good luck!

Chances are it is counterfeit, but sending it to NGC for certification is the best way to find out.  If it's real, there's no reason you won't get it back, and if so, that is certainly quite a find. I wish you the best.

Please update us after grading!

Thanks for posting the link with the background info.  Using this example, @Standior's 9 in "1959" does not look right at all, but it could be the photo.

I guess I just don't get it -- and probably never will.

Members know full well that when financial considerations are taken into consideration, the coin has no value beyond the sentimental.

When I get a Wheatie in change, I give it a quick once-over and place it in jar.  I always knew the reverse bore the wheat stalks -- I never knew an undetermined number featured the Lincoln Memodial.

The OP's coin looks fake, the numerals of the date are all wrong and the coin in general is wrong, sorry for the bad news.

PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT...

Regarding the OP's likely the longest post ever posted within a post, I believe it ought to be made crystal clear that under no circumstances would a TPGS confiscate, substitute or willfully damage merchandise, raw or encapsulated, entrusted to them.

(If I am wrong, there are those who would not hesitate to leap at the opportunity to correct me.)

to me it looksd like the reverse has been hollowed out and substitued with a real wheat back..If you look at the rims they look like two concentric circles ......... just what i see....

That is exactly what I was thinking when I looked at it. Was waiting on someone to say something.

Yep. Note the cut border on the reverse.

Worthless novelty.

Not truly worthless, but not real either. Couple bucks, tops.
