The top four prizes should ship by Thursday of this week, by Priority Mail, ...while the 19 consolation prizes will go out early next week, since it'll take some time to get them ready and packaged. They'll be going by First class mail.

With the exception of the three Jefferson nickels, the Cameo proof dimes, and the US Army Intelligence and Security Command shoulder patches, all of the coins and tokens are from bulk buys from shops over the past 25 years.

The Wheat Cents cost me from 8 to 15 cents each, the Buffalo Nickels were pulled from "full date" batches, averaging about 30 cents each. The best finds were sold, some slabbed first.

The tokens all came in buys of mixed bulk, mostly junk arcade, etc, tokens, but always there was treasure mixed in. $5 a pound.  Most of the stuff I shipped off in bulk to the big bulk buyers, but the early tokens I always kept. Like the coins, the most valuable finds were sold.

The Wheats, all 1909 to 1933, include some nice dates from the teens in choice EF, some UNC's from the 20's, and a few that would have been slabbed but have minor issues, or just weren't worth the cost of doing so.

That's a 1929-S Buffalo, BTW. Problem free and lustrous. 

I'll get a few close-ups tomorrow.

You'll definitely want to send that PM with an address to claim one of the 19 consolation prizes. They didn't cost me much, but they make great prizes and they let me fulfill my grandsons' wish that, "everyone should win!" 👍

When my grandsons arrive later this week for a visit we're going to pick a few coins and tokens to include in each prize. (There are about 60 Wheaties total, the eight nickels, a dozen Cameo PF Roosevelt dimes, and about a pound of tokens.)

Every prize includes a patch, (I picked up a box of 200 back when they changed the design and the old ones were sold as surplus.)

I'll try to balance the value of each prize, but there are a couple Wheaties that may be worth more than the others, if UNC, not AU as I estimate, for example, and a couple of the tokens are better than typical too. We'll seal them up before addressing them, and we won't know who gets the teens AU's, the G to VG 22-D Lincoln, the 26-S with full wheat lines, the borderline UNC 1936-S Buffalo, etc!

All four of the big prizes were shipped out on Thursday, as scheduled! The consolation prizes are awaiting the final addresses.

I'm going to message all those who entered but haven't yet sent an address, by tonight or tomorrow morning, since some people who posted to enter, likely haven't read the more recent posts to the thread and so wouldn't be aware of the consolation prizes.

We need to know how many shares in the coins and tokens there will be, before we can divide them. 

We'll wait a week to let everyone reply with an address. Those well-heeled, or otherwise disposed, may forfeit their share to the others if they wish to be so kind, either by letting me know, post or message, or by simply not replying to the request for an address I'll send by the board message system.

Late next weekend, I'll tally up the addresses and divide the loot among them! My grandsons and I will package everything up afterwards and we're planning to send them out by the following Tuesday, (Jan 20)

(As of now, there are less than a dozen claims on the treasure!)

Very generous indeed. A few others in addition to Just Bob have now also kindly offered their share back into the 'pool' for the rest of the entrants. Good crowd here, no doubt. (My grandsons are very happy to see some people giving their share to everyone else!)

 You know, rocket23, if trends continue, a couple of the mixes might get pretty close to the value of one of the 4 original prizes. Tough to say right now tho.
