I have different years of old pennies 1919 1942,1944,1945,1948 and really don't know what to look for to see if these are valuable i sure could use a little expert advice. Thank you

None of those years contain a lot of rare issues, but if you want a quick way to sort out the worn from the less worn, flip them over and look for the lines on the wheat. Got to be able to see them all, even if worn, to grade F-12 or better. Might need a loupe to see properly, though technically, grading is with the naked eye up to MS-68. If you find any that are real nice, with some copper redness left or all the detail, try not to get finger grease on them.

Welcome to the forum. In average circulated condition, the ones from the 40’s are worth about 3 cents each and and the 1919, a bit more, but still less than $1.
