TRYING T THANKS EVERYONEO GET THE DIFFERENCES CORRECT AND I SEE A LITTLE BIT OF WHAT IS BEING SAID ABOUT LOOKING FOR SPLIT ENDS AND HOW MOLDS ARE ROUNDED ON DDO AND DDR INSTEAD OF FLAT BUT THIS IS A NEWER DIME SO I WANTED TO CHECK.

It looks like strike doubling but can you provide a photo of the full obv, sometimes those microscope closeups distort things.

It falls well within the parameters of "normal" for mass produced coins. Poor quality control is not in itself a mint error or variety.

The only way that coin has "split ends" is if someone with really dry hair rubs it on their golden locks.
