A very thoughtful member prepared a custom icon for me, and I decided to give it a try.

Thank You!

(The red-white-blue color order is from my 3 Renaissance of American Coinage book cover color schemes.)

For coin collector relevance, here's a snapshot by Dennis Tucker from the Whitman Publications booth at the 2018 ANA. Yours truly is on the left, Dave Bowers is right and I forget the gentleman's name in the center. This was about 100 lb ago for me.

I noticed your new avatar first on another thread and my first thought was "Wow... that's a striking and impressive design."

The man in the middle is David Crenshaw, late of Whitman and now with ICTA, I believe. Good fellows, all.

The Whitman people have provided a nice platform for authors over the years. Here's a shot from the 2004 Pittsburgh ANA (it was about 40 pounds ago for me). Try to guess which one of these writers is not like the others:
