From the pictures supplied, I see nothing but damage.

In the future, please supply complete photo of both sides of the coin. It is OK to post photos of the area of concern as well.

Welcome to the forum.

I can see why you would think your coin has a re-punched mint mark - it has that look. Unfortunately, even if it were a genuine RPM, it has too much damage to be worth much more than face value. I can't enlarge the pictures enough to see much, but it does not look like any of the RPMs for that year.

Here is a link to a list of known RPMs for that year and mint mark. You can compare your coin to the pictures, and see what you think. The listing shows both proof and business strike coins, since both types were made in San Fransisco that year. You can disregard the listings for the proofs, because your coin is a business strike
