Given the condition of the coin it would be impossible to differentiate between wear and tear and any die deterioration that might have been present at the time the coin was struck.  Most if not all you see can be attributed to a long and hard life in service, rest easy Abe you have worked hard.

Now I have a good idea what it must look like when you whip out that heavy artillery of yours.  First time I have seen a Lincoln up close like that. And this one appears to have the remnants of a diamond stud in his right ear. Lovely!
